Admin note: adding screenshot of report as Azure Maps don't render in Publish to Web
This report lets you browse monthly high and low temperatures and precipitation amounts around the world to pick the best time and location for your travel. Like rain? There's places that get 100 inches per month in July! Going to Australia in January? Don't pick somewhere that averages over 100 degrees (unless you like that sort of thing...). Measurements are available in both metric and imperial.
The data source is Google Bigquery's sample dataset "gsod" (NOAA data) available here: https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/public-data
Attaching this PBIX instead of Publish to Web because it's using the Azure Maps visuals, which don't seem to work with Publish to Web. Classic maps couldn't handle all the data points on the bubble map. 🙂
