Week 2: Global Climate Change - A Story Using Visuals
For my entry for the week 2, I intended to provide clear global climate change insights based on historical data.
I identified trends for average annual CO2 emissions per capita, worldwide, by continent as well as by country income level tier. I was also able to establish relations between annual global CO2 per capita and temperature anomaly, global average sea level and world population. Finally, I determined the trends of annual CO2 emissions and population worldwide and by continent.
My main intention in developing the visuals from the data was to determine the major factors that have causing the annual CO2 emissions to continue to rise, so that appropriate actions be taken in the places where they can have the most impact.
