🌍Well, this was definitely a journey!
🥂Greetings to all this community. And thank you for being here spending a little time by watching my creation. It took a lot of work to get this good and done on time.
Now, embark with me into the heart of this report!
I'm using this Kaggle Dataset about fictional trips made all over the world. I fixed a few bugs and it was good to go!
🎯My priorities with this report was two:
1. 📊 Focusing on fast delivery of key results on the first pages and detailing visuals on the other pages;
2. 🦻 Focusing on Accessibility for people with visual difficulties.
That's why I'm using alternative text in all visuals from all pages! I also took care to put the visuals in a right tab order, so a screen reader will be able to easily tell the story we are telling here! 😁
You're also going to notice that I'm using two Windows native contrast color themes. Desert and Dusk:
Windows contrast themes
And you can easily switch between them on the report, by hitting the "ACCESSIBILITY MODE" button on the left side of all pages!
Changing the default contrast theme on the report
Since the data is about travel, I inserted images that I took on trips I did here in Brazil.
🥾🌄 By the way, this thinker sitting on the rock, on the first page, is my adventurous brother! Hahaha
Furthermore, on the left side, you'll see the filters you can use on all pages. Only the "Year, Month" filter is required.
As I said before, the first page focus on the overview of the trips made. The big numbers shows the 4 key calculations, and they are displayed on all pages:
Cards on the Desert Contrast theme
Cards on the Dusk Contrast Theme
Under the cards, there's a comparison with the same period filtered and the last year, in values and growth percentage.
The visuals of the first page are divided in three categories:
Division blocks on the first page
On the second page, we have:
Division blocks on the second page
The third and fourth pages contains details of Accommodation and Transportation Expenses, respectively. Comparing:
Division blocks on the third and fourth page
And last but not least, the Demographic Analysis page, focusing on understanding traveler behavior and preferences. This page contains:
Division blocks on the third and fourth page
✈️And that's it for today!
I would love to know what you think about this report. It's a pleasure participating on the first DataViz World Championship.

hi @Jmcorrea22 , this dashboard is so amazing! Could you share this .pbix file with me? (address: ligt5@lenovo.com) Really thanks!
Excellently laid out and an awesome dashboard. Colour scheme is also really really good. How did you do the Tabs buttons? "Travel Overview", "Travel Details", "Accomodation Expenses", "Transportation Expenses" etc? Well done!!
Amazing!
Ótimo trabalho, parabéns!
@Jmcorrea22 Hello, Thank you for this wonderful creation. It would be very helpful if you can share the .pbix file too.
That matrix on the Demographic Analysis tab with the segments and calculations, is *Chef's Kiss* awesome.
Hello, friend! Thank you very much for your comment!!
I'm glad you liked it 🙂
Hi there !
The switch between the different modes (light, dark) is an incredibly cool feature.
For this, do you need two separate pages ? Or is it achievable by just bookmarks ? (If you don't mind sharing 🙂 )
Hi, sir!
Thank you for your message.
Yes, i had to create separate pages and insert on the switch button an action of navigation page 🙂
That's cool ! Thanks for sharing. And congratulations for the design and and finishing in a short time frame.
