Introduction

This report tracks five dimensions of urban performance—Affordability, Emissions, Transit, Green Space, and Livability—combined into an Overall City Score. Together, they show each city’s path toward stronger livability.

How to Read

Scores are normalized to a 0–100 scale so that higher always means better. Transit, Green Space, and Livability naturally scale upward, while Affordability and Emissions are inverted for consistency. A benchmark of 50 distinguishes above- from below-average outcomes.

• Metric Cards: Show scores with quick labels (e.g., Affordable vs. Costly).
• Overall Score: Average of all five metrics, labeled Above or Below Benchmark.
• Trends & Comparisons: Line charts highlight changes over time; bar charts show peer rankings.

Recommendations

Cities below benchmark should focus on their weakest dimensions:
