This urban metro operation monitoring report is produced based on the Shanghai Metro route map and virtual data. It can simulate the real-time operation of different metro lines and monitor the health status of each train, representing an important exploration of PowerBI Report in the field of urban public transportation.
The report has only one page, and all displayed indicators are core metrics related to metro operation and maintenance (with virtual data). The upper left corner presents core indicators for all lines, including SC Rate (Schedule Compliance Rate) and TA Rate (Train Availability Rate). Select the line to view from the "line" column, and the map in the middle will display the trains simultaneously.
The map in the middle reproduces the 18 lines of the Shanghai Metro, which can simulate and display the real-time position and status of the selected trains, helping operators quickly grasp the macro operation status of the trains. The key operational indicators section on the right displays metrics such as Number of Responsible Rescues and Number of Responsible Passenger Evacuations (RPE), providing multi-dimensional references for operational decision-making.
The train status area below updates information in real-time, including each train's number, current station, speed, operating status, and maintenance labels. Hovering the mouse over it allows viewing 16 regular maintenance items of the current train. The number for each item represents the time until the next maintenance; green indicates no need for attention, yellow indicates upcoming maintenance, and red indicates delayed maintenance, making it convenient for maintenance personnel to keep track of the detailed status of the trains.
Usage Tips:
- Select the line to view from the left "Line" column (do not select from the indicator column). Click the play button in the upper right corner to view the real-time operation of metro trains. Different colors of the trains represent different maintenance statuses.
- The custom options in the lower right corner can adjust the warning values of 4 maintenance items, thereby changing the color status of the trains.
- The report contains a large amount of content and requires some preloading time. Please wait patiently.
