Hi everyone! I’m S. Nakshatra, a fresher exploring the world of data visualization — and I’m super excited to be part of The College Quest in Fabricland Power BI challenge! 💜
This project is my first big step into storytelling with data. I designed a four-page interactive dashboard that guides Fabricland’s young wizards in finding their dream college — balancing tuition, happiness, and career outcomes.
In this Power BI dashboard, I set out to help the young wizards of Fabricland choose their perfect college.
Through four interactive pages — Welcome to Fabricland, Explore & Compare Colleges, The Career Spellbook, and The Final Spell of Wisdom — the report transforms raw data into a visual story of happiness, affordability, and opportunity.
Key features include:
• Dynamic KPI cards for total colleges, tuition, happiness, and placements
• Interactive slicers to compare kingdoms, admission difficulty, and program levels
• Creative visuals such as Top-5 happiness ranking, career-path salary analysis
💡Insight:
The analysis reveals that the Silverleaf University of Healing offers the happiest students and strong career outcomes, while Starfall Institute of Celestial Studies show the highest placement success.
🎯Goal:
To make data exploration engaging and accessible for students — proving that storytelling and analytics together can illuminate the smartest academic choices in any realm.
