For this week's theme of LOVE, I looked at birth rates in European countries (courtesy of Eurostat).
What is more loving than babies? Well....making babies! I calculated the estimated date of conception based on the birth dates to see what month we tend to make most of our babies.
And the final cherry on top, is to correlate this with the average temperature of the country.
Using statistics from 'Our world in data' I took the past 20 years temperature and plotted this out to illustrate the month we make most babies, and the average temperature.
Turns out, there is indeed a tendency where most of us like to to snuggle up and get cozy in the colder months and so we do infact make most of our babies when it's cold outside. *️⃣
And don't worry, we can see the temperature in both celsius and farhenheit 😉
Enjoy!
