Page 1: Migration Overview
Bird migration is an incredible natural event where birds travel thousands of kilometers between breeding and wintering grounds. In this section, I explored general aspects of migration- when birds tend to travel, why do they migrate and which region is the origin.
Page 2: Species Insights
Not all birds migrate the same way. Some, like eagles and hawks, fly faster and cover greater distances with fewer stops. Others, such as geese, swallows, and warblers, take a more gradual route, stopping often to rest and refuel. Timing also varies—while cranes often begin their journey in January or October, warblers and storks migrate more in March or November. These patterns reflect each species' unique needs and strategies.
Page 3: Success vs Failure
Migration isn’t always successful. In this part of the report, I looked at the factors that lead to either a successful journey or a failed one. High wind speeds, for instance, are strongly linked to increased failure- likely due to flight disruption or exhaustion. Pressure and humidity also play a role, though their impact varies. I also found that some species are more prone to migration challenges, highlighting how survival depends not just on instinct, but also on the conditions they face.

Kudos to your Dashboard
Thank you so much 🙂
Wow @Santhanalakshmi, your dashboards really look stunning. I have seen you compete for the World Championship during the last Fabric Conference and was impressed by what you did.
You are an inspiration for many Power BI developers for sure.
Marc
Thank you Marc. Means a lot to me.
Your dashboard is very creative, lot of information like a flow of story, there is lot to learn from you, best dashboard.
Thank you Pavani 🙂
This is great. So much to learn about bird migration
Thank you. And yes, I had no idea that a lot of factors come into play to make a migration successful.
Beautiful Dashboard, very well executed!
Thank you so much 🙂
I love this!
Thank you very much 🙂
