As a first-time participant, I'm thrilled to share my submission for the DataViz World Champs. This has been a fantastic and challenging learning experience!
My report is designed as an interactive tool for data journalists. It's built on two distinct pages, each with its own purpose:
1. A Guided Overview Page ("How Life Changed in Europe") This page acts as a narrative introduction to the data. Instead of static charts, it's a fully interactive dashboard where you can:

Navigate by clicking on the main KPI cards at the top to change the entire context of the page.

Instantly see geographical trends on a dynamic map.

Compare a country or region's evolution to the European average.

Identify the top performers in terms of growth with a ranked bar chart.
2. An Analytical Sandbox ("Trends & Correlations") This is the explorer page, designed for finding your own stories. Here you can:

Compare any two indicators (absolute or growth) on a fully dynamic scatter plot.

See how the strength of their connection evolves over time with dynamic correlation metrics.

Use rich, contextual tooltips to get a full analytical snapshot of any country on hover.
I focused on creating a clean, minimalist UI with a toggleable panel for all filters and selections.
