Registration NOT = Idea submission profile?

I registed to the PowerBI community with my existing hotmail account, which i use for TechNet account as well.

But when i want to post a new idea, it asks for another profile, that would be either FB or a Google login. So are there two different profiles maintained, one for Registration, another for Idea submission?

That is correct. Our idea forum is a separate entity so that's the way this is set up. We are trying to make it easier, but there's nothing coming in the near future regarding this. Thanks for keeping us honest and highlighting issues like these.
