My Post Marked as spam

Hi,

My first question/post related to Power BI Desktop has been marked as spam even though it's a legitimate question. Will you please take a look at it and see why? Any feedback is appreciated to have that question answered. When it says if you believe this is an error, it directs me to an abuse report.

Hello @anmoltripathi5,

Your post has been marked as not spam and it has been moved back.

The platform scans for spam automatically and we monitor all flagged posts to determine whether or not the content should be unmarked. There are multiple variables the platform scans for and I have no way of knowing exactly what triggered your post to be flagged. Some common trigger items are copy and pasting content in and multiple edits. You should be good to go on this post.

Thanks for being a part of the community!

Thanks for Natalie_iTalent's concern about this issue.

Hi, @Gugan
I’m sorry to hear that your post was marked as spam.

There are many reasons about Post being marked as spam, such as:
If your question is highly similar to the content of an existing post, the system may consider it a duplicate post and mark it as spam.

If your question contains a lot of external links, especially those to uncommon or untrustworthy sites, the system may consider this as spam.Or using too many special characters, all-caps or unusual formatting may trigger the spam filter.

Certain keywords or phrases may be preset as sensitive by the system, which could cause your question to be automatically flagged.

The system may scrutinize your posts more closely if your account is newly registered or if you don't have much previous activity history. Also, if you post more than one piece of content in a short period of time, it may be considered by the system as spamming behavior.

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
Fen Ling,
