To ensure that your email notifications are turned off:
1. Click your avatar in the top right hand corner of the page.
2. Choose "My subscriptions".
3. Click on the Subscriptions & Notifications tab.
4. Click Notification Settings.
5. Check the "Turn off all email notifications" box.

Helper IMy question is how do I turn this stuff off? I can't imagine anybody actually finds this useful. I realise it's probably a trick to get users to stay on the site longer but it just makes me want to go to Reddit and try and get help there.
