Helpful Resources always visible now?

Seems like the "Helpful Resources" sidebar is now always visibile?  Even when in a post, wasnt never like that. Is this new change here to stay?

Same question, makes reading the actual post more difficult, especially code. Would love for a way to remove it on the actual thread.
