Thank you for reaching out. To stop the carousel from rotating, you can hit the "Pause" button on the bottom right of the Announcements box.

Thanks - but everytime I click to a new page it starts again.
Can it be stopped permanently (otherwise the function is worthless imo)?

Thank you for your feedback. I'm using Edge and am able to use it. Sometimes I have to click it twice if it is in the middle of transitioning.

Holy smoke, I got youre code to work. Used an Edge extension, Tampermonkey to save the code.
Crazy to spend time on that, but really glad you helped me out.
I only feel bad, that it also hides the object, that shows that you are Top Kudoed Authors (Last Month) :-). Have a nice evening, regards Henrik
Change the DOM address to
document.querySelector("#slides > div.slidesjs-container > div > div:nth-child(2)")
Write a little script to hide the DOM element
