Hi fabric community,
I will be leaving my current place of employment soon and will be losing access to my work email. This account of mine is registered using my work email address and I don't want to lose access to this forum
I was not able to change the email address from the account settings. Is there a way around this ?

I will go ahead an create a new account. It is a very convoluted workaround for such a common scenario! I am sure I am not the first one who is changing jobs and needs to change email addresses here ! Usually community forums just allow you enter a new email address and confirm it using some form of authentication method

Thanks for replying. I am following the instructions in the forms page you have provided. I am getting prompted to create a new account
I want to continue with my existing user name , i.e this one I am posting from. Is that possible ? How can I create another account with "uniqueusername" as the login using the new email address while this existing one is still active ? When I start creating a new account I get the message
"That username is already taken. Choose a different one"
Hello @Uniqueusername,
When we update your email address, you will retain your current username. The new account is just so we have the new email in the community. You won't use the account at all.
