Hello Everyone,
I am new to Power BI Community, though not so new to Power BI.
With Power BI Community's help and support articles, I am able to create work email on <portal.azure.com> and then i used that work email id to login to Power BI community. Thanks for that.
My worry is I am using azure account as an individual and it is going to expire post 1 month of free access. I do not wish to pursue it as "Pay as you go". I have following queries-
(1) Once azure account (work email) got expired, would i be able to use Power BI community, post messages etc ?
(2) If i have to reset my password post expiry, how would that works out to be in Power BI Community.. ?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Hey @vizbi
We are so glad you are here and are getting the support you need!
The Power BI community does require and AAD account to make and reply to posts, and participate actively in the community. But not too worry, you can create an organizational account by following the directions in our support article 'How to Register for a Power BI Community Account', specifically 'I Need an Organizational Account'.
Since the community uses your AAD account, we do not manage your password. If you create an account via the link above, we have a support article that will point you in the right direction, check out 'Community Account Support', specifically the section titled 'Changing Your True AAD Password'. The last sentence of that section provides a link to update your Azure Active Directory (AAD) password.
Hope this helps, we are glad you are part of the community!
