Why We Want You to Join our Community

Being part of our community enables you to post messages and questions, reply to questions, exchange private messages with other members, and personalize your community experience. Also, as a registered community member, you will have exclusive opportunities for perks. If you don't register, you can only browse, search for information, and read posts. You won't be able to give kudos, interact with other community members, or set customization preferences.

Registering

Registering only takes a moment.  If you are registering with a Microsoft email account, select Sign in in the upper right hand corner.  If you are using any other type of email, select Register.

Creating Your Profile

When you join the community, a profile will be created. The personal profile information that you choose to share will appear to all users on your profile page. This information consists of your username, your picture or avatar, your title (if you have one), your kudos, badges, and your recent posts.

What can I do from My Profile? From the Edit Profile view, you can change your profile picture (avatar), change your display name, write or edit your bio.

Microsoft Code of Conduct

Please take a moment to read about the Microsoft Code of Conduct. As a participant of these forums, you agree that you will uphold the Microsoft Code of Conduct and are responsible for all activities and content you post/upload. In addition to upholding this Code of Conduct, you are responsible for adhering to all applicable local and national laws. This is your community. Help us to keep it safe, friendly, fun, and helpful.

Microsoft reserves the right, at its sole discretion, and without any obligation to do so, to review and remove user-created services and content at will and without notice and delete content and accounts. Microsoft reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to permanently ban participants or terminate access to the community.

User Group Guidelines and Code of Conduct

Fabric user groups are pages for leaders and members to create a positive, solicitation-free environment where the community can come to learn and share with one another freely. We ask all local user group participants to follow the guidelines below.

  • Register as part of the Fabric Community
  • Register your user group on the community
  • List your user group events on the user group pages
  • Promote local user group meetings to your members as appropriate

In addition to our community code of conduct, if you are involved with or join our user groups as a leader or member, you agree to our guidelines and code of conduct
