Requesting a voucher

What is the offer? 

For a limited time, the Microsoft Fabric Community team will be offering 5,000 free DP-600 exam vouchers to eligible Fabric Community members. Exams must be scheduled and taken by December 31, 2024.

What are the eligibility criteria?    

• Join the Fabric Community if you haven't already.
• Not already be a Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600).
• Register for and complete all modules in the Microsoft Learn Challenge | Ignite Edition: Fabric Challenge. 
• Do not submit your request form before completing the challenge your or request will be denied.
• Be confident that you can take and pass exam DP-600 by December 31, 2024.
• Agree to these terms and conditions.

How can I request a free exam voucher for DP-600?

The URL to request your free voucher is https://aka.ms/iamready/dp600. Supplies are limited and the form closes on December 10th, or when supplies are gone.

Receiving and using a voucher

When and how will I receive my exam voucher?

If you are eligible, vouchers will be distributed starting on November 25th. Vouchers will be sent to you via a private message (PM) in the Microsoft Fabric Community. We cannot tell you when your specific voucher will be sent. Vouchers supplies are limited.

How do I redeem my voucher? 

All redemption details will be included in the private message you will receive in the Microsoft Fabric Community. You can also review these voucher redemption instructions.

When does the voucher expire? 

You must use the exam voucher to schedule your exam and take the exam by December 31, 2024. The expiration date cannot be extended.

How will I know if I wasn’t eligible? 

We will PM everyone who submits a request to let them know if they are eligible or not by December 11, 2024.

Issues and fixes

What if I am having an issue submitting the form / the form won’t submit?

If you're filling the form from a non-US locale, please manually select your country in the country dropdown. We're seeing issues where country spellings include an accent, and unfortunately our form does not accept that. 

How do I find my Microsoft Learn username?

Visit https://aka.ms/iamready/learnusername. Be sure to provide us with your username. We cannot accept display names.

‼️If you submitted the wrong username, please fill out this form with the correct information. We will be matching requests based on Fabric Community user id- so that cannot change.

What if I have finished the challenge and my status isn't showing complete?

Email us at fabric-ready@microsoft.com with 1) your Fabric username and 2) a screenshot of your completed collection or your completion email.

If you submitted the wrong username, please fill out this form with the correct information. We will be matching requests based on Fabric Community user id- so that cannot change.

Scheduling exams

I'm having issues related to scheduling the exam, signing in/registering, or the certification dashboard?

Please reach out to the MCP forum for support by following the steps below. 

1. Go to https://trainingsupport.microsoft.com/mcp/forum 
2. Select “Ask Question” link on the top of the page, which will lead you to Create a new question or start a discussion.
3. Enter the details and submit.

Cancelling or re-scheduling a Pearson Vue exam

The voucher code is good for one exam -- and per the terms, you can only recieve one voucher.  Do your best to not fail -- there are lots of great resources for studying at http://aka.ms/Iamready/dp600prepare including a training session on December 13th.

Hi,

I got the voucher for India as that was my current location and only way it accepted the final form when I was trying to do it from Nepal. AsI will be giving my exam from Nepal, will this be any issue? As I have used a different address(temporary) and number while registering in pearsons vue. By end of december I will be moving to Nepal and that's where I will give my exam from.

Would there be any issue on this? I already used the voucher and scheduled the exam for 26th December.

I got the voucher, but the only test center in Medellín (where I'm currently living), the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, doesn't have any availability in December. How should I proceed?

Like mentioned by everyone, I have completed all the modules in the challenge and however the progress is stalled at 3 out of 11 modules completed. 
Got a message today saying I need to finish the challenge however it's already done.

I just got a message that I wouldn't qualify for the voucher until completing the challenge.
However, I've already completed the challenge.
Also when I go to the challenge my progress shows stuck at 10/11 but when I go to the "Items in this collection" it shows all have been completed and show 100%.
I've emailed the challenge support already on this one and my previous AI challenge since neither show up correctly for me even though I completed both of them.

Same issue like others have post here, completed challenge, even, received email from learn-noreply@microsoft.com, "You’ve completed a challenge collection
Congratulations on completing the Ignite Edition Challenge: Prepare for the next generation of data analytics with Microsoft Fabric..."
albeit, not getting confirmation and also challenge screen showing I still having modules pending, if I look at Continue Learning at the collection of modules all completed (100%).

Having the same issue here as reported by others:

• All modules in the collection show as 100% completed
• Learn profile updated to show Ignite challenge completed
• Email confirmation received
• Challenge page (with "scores updated within a few hours" message) is frozen at 10/11 modules completed
• Private message received from unmonitored account that Fabric Ignite Skills Challenge is not finished

Hello, I filled out the form to obtain the voucher and I received a notification that says "Finish the challenge for the free DP-600 exam voucher offer", but before filling out the form I had already finished the challenge at the 100%, I entered the link the notification and I see 100% challenge completed, I don't understand what I would be missing.
