Learning: Applied skills

Hi community, I took one applied skills from microsoft learning. I have a few questions about it.

1.-Is worth an applied skill to get a new job? or certification? or both? 🙂

2.-when you take the lab.. the full screen don't actually get full screen, It's middle or less screen, do you have a tip to get full screen? because with the window size it's difficult to interactive.
