Hi Microsoft Team,
I'm writing regarding the exam voucher for the Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) exam that I purchased through Generation Singapore in December 2024. This voucher is currently valid until November 20, 2025.
I recently learned that Microsoft has announced the retirement of the DP-203 exam on January 15, 2025, with all related exams and renewals to be discontinued after March 31, 2025. This information was shared via the Microsoft Tech Community channel.
As a recent graduate of Generation Singapore's Junior Data Engineer programme (JDE05 cohort) as of February 6, 2025, I haven't yet begun preparing for this exam. Several of my fellow graduates are in the same situation, having purchased vouchers in February 2025 but not yet started exam preparation.
Given these circumstances, I respectfully request that Microsoft convert my DP-203 exam voucher to a DP-700 (Designing and Implementing a Microsoft Azure Data Solution) voucher instead. This certification remains highly valuable for entry-level professionals like myself who are committed to maintaining relevant skills in the rapidly evolving tech industry.
