Set Alert option not available in Power BI reports

I am trying to migrate my preview Reflexes into GA, however none of the visuals that I had previously set alerts on have that option anymore.

I am expecting this

But instead I get this

I am accessing Power BI through Fabric and our workspace is on a Premium licence. Is there something that we are now missing? I saw one of the prerequisites was the report must contain live - data, but what does that mean. Also are normal Table visuals no longer supported to Set Alerts on?

Hi @AlexWuhoo ,

Ensure that you are in the Fabric workload.  You can then right click on the visual object set alert, please note that your alert save location needs a workspace with Fabric capacity. For ease of management, it is recommended that you place reports and alerts that require setting up alerts in the same Fabric workspace.

The report must contain live data, which means it should be connected to a real-time data source that updates automatically. This is crucial for alerts to function correctly, as they rely on real-time changes in the data.

As of now, standard table visuals do not support setting alerts. 

Activator supports the following Power BI visual types, you can refer:  Activator limitations

Hi @AlexWuhoo 

Please ask your tenant administrator to check that your tenant allows users to create Fabric items, as described in this doc.  If this switch is disabled, then the "Set Alert" option will not appear in Power BI.  Before Activator went to GA, there was a separate "Enable Data Activator" tenant switch which controlled the appearance of the "Set Alert" button. When we went to GA, we removed this switch and changed the logic so that "Set Alert" is controlled by the main "Enable Fabric" switch.

I vote to reenable a separate switch in Tenant Admin for "Set Alert" and any other Fabric items rather than all or nothing.
