Extending Data Activator

Hi,

Are their plans to extend Data activator to other Fabric assets such as datasets, tables, pipelines etc.?

This would be extremely useful from a data governance perspective

One use case that comes to my for my customer, is the possibility to have DQ in Purview emit results from the DQ process and having Data Activator react to specific results and/or trends in the DQ score.

@Anonymous - As per the documentation - its says - " It monitors data in Power BI reports and Event Hub data streams".

As per the @ginoroy  ask - does it suport for Fabric assets such as datasets, tables, pipelines.

How to trigger an email or team notification in case if the pipeline fails using Data Activator is the ask?

Information about those failure events must be pushed to either an Azure Event Hubs (or to Fabric Event streams) before Data Activator can operate on them. You would create a reflex trigger by defining the condition that would detect the failure.
We dont support direct ingestion from sources other than Power BI reports or Azure Event Hubs or Fabric Event streams.

Can you elaborate more on the use case that you are thinking about? Is it that you want to create triggers that detect specific conditions based on metadata of other Fabric items (artifacts)?
