Chrome much slower then Edge since a few days

Until about a week ago (Sept 22) the performance of all the PBI reports was about the same for Chrome and Edge, but from then on queries in Chrome are much slower than in Edge, in Edge performance is the same as before.

My first thought was that is was an issue with the managed computers used at my Company, but also on other computers I'm experiencing the same.

I use Premium in combination with Analysises Services.

Anyone recognizing this issue, or has a suggestion for a change in the Chrome settings?

Could you see if there is an updated version of Chrome which could make it faster?

Or as an alternative just use Edge?

Power BI support these browsers:

Microsoft Edge Chromium.
Chrome desktop latest version.
Safari Mac latest version.
Firefox desktop latest version. Firefox may change the fonts used in Power BI

According to your description, the Chrome is slower than Edge for a few days.

You can try this:

(1)You can try using "InPrivate View" for access.

(2)Try after emptying the browser cache.

(3)Install the latest version of the Google version.

thank you very much for your suggestions. I've tried both (In private session and latest chrome version), but that did not solve the issue we are experiencing.

Hi Gilbert, thank you for your suggestions. I checked it with te most recent version of chrome available at this moment (106.0.5249.61/62). Edge is considered as a workaround, but my influence on preferred browsers is limited with especially external users. I expect that chrome should work with the same performance as safari/edge/firefox
