Hello Experts,

I have built a ODATA connection option to extract Data into Power BI. Its asking me manually refresh all the Queries I have built in Power BI Query Editor. How can I make to refresh Automatically OR in the backend to refresh by every 1 hour

Assuming this is an on-premise data source: Set up a gateway, make sure it can see the data source, create a connection, use the connection, set up a schedule.

If you want to refresh the queries in Power BI Desktop automatically, I'm afraid this is not available currently. You can vote up the following ideas regarding the similar requirement:

Hi Jingzhang,

Thank you very much for your response. I am hosting the dashboards through workspace, In the Workspace, we have an option to refresh through DATASET. Will that work?

It is only a cloud database if it ca be freely accessed from the Azure service. All other scenarios = on-premise. That includes things like MySQL databases on Azure - you need a VNet gateway. It also includes non-Microsoft ODATA sources - those may need an Enterprise gateway.
