how to create ADLS Shortcuts where ADLS is behind firewall

we want to Connect to ADLS with onelake shortcuts to ALDS storage which is behind a firewall - etc without turning on Private endpoints at the tenant level. Do we have steps for that and can we use VNEt gateways for what are the different solutions for this?

Thanks for using Fabric Community.
Microsoft Fabric has introduced a feature called “Trusted Workspace Access” that allows secure access to firewall-enabled Storage accounts from OneLake shortcuts in Fabric workspaces, without the need to open the Storage account to public access.

You can also take a look at this video, which helps in getting data into MS Fabric from ADLS Gen2 with firewall rules. But this is not related to shortcuts. Just FYI I am providing the link:
