Using Fabric Healthcare data solutions but without OneLake?

Hey,

we have a requirement to use Fabric over an ADLS which isn't One Lake because it lacks some networking and CMK capabilities that our customer requires.

we want to build a medalion architecture over our Azure Healthcare FHIR services,

and fabric Healthcare data solutions ingestion pipeline seems like a great fit,

but it seems like its only capable to use one lake,

is there a way to use the notebooks but with our manually created ADLS?

Can you please explain the ask further? You dont wanna use onelake shortcuts, but want to access the ADLS data?

yes, as for my understanding, Fabric notebooks under the Healthcare data solutions are using onelake

our customer needs some further configuration over the storage account which isn't supported using fabric and onelake (like customer managed keys encryption)

it seems like, for example, in the healthcare1_msft_raw_bronze_ingestion notebook, the code is using the following service:

from microsoft.fabric.hls.hds.services.bronze_ingestion_service import BronzeIngestionService

is it possible to use this BronzeIngestionService service over a storage account that we create? (and not onelake)

You can create an Azure Blob Storage connection using Fabric.

I ended up using the export notebook which is part of the ingestion step in the healthcare solutions
