Deployment rule to change connection in data pipeline lookup activity?

I have an Azure SQL orchestration database that is queried in a lookup activity in a data pipeline. I am starting to work with deployment pipelines for this workspace. How can I create a rule to update the connection on deployment?

You can configure data source rules, parameter rules, and default lakehouse rules in Fabric:
Create deployment rules for Fabric's Application lifecycle management (ALM) - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn

The internal team has confirmed that Connection parameter in deployment pipeline is not yet supported. It is planned for this year. We do not have any ETA. I will keep you posted regarding the updates.
