Share lakehouse with Microsoft 365 group

Am getting an error - You can't use invalid or duplicate emails - when I try to add the Microsoft365 group directly to manage permissions for the lake house

I can add the group to the workspace - however that messes up my audiences. Any suggestions? I can see/use other groups (group type = distribution) in the field.

I also found a similar issue - Solved: Re: Share lake house with a group - Microsoft Fabric Community
However that is not verified for Microsoft 365 groups

Only Security and Distributed group types are available as of now for permission management inside the workspace (workspace itself allows 365 groups). An idea has been created for 365 groups - Microsoft Idea . Please vote if you need this functionality.
