Azure Data Factory sink error need help

Hi,

I need some help with Azure Data Factory. I built a flow to update one of the fields inside Dataverse at Sink step and I am getting the following error message:

Job failed due to reason: Error response from server: Some({"error":{"code":"0x80048d19","message":"Error identified in Payload provided by the user for Entity :'', For more information on this error please follow this help link https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2195293 ----> InnerException : Microsoft.OData.ODataException: An undeclared property 'ngo_incomecode1' which only has property annotations in the payload but no property value was found in the payload. In OData, only declared navigation properties and declared named streams can be represented as properties without values.\r\n at Microsoft.OData.JsonLight.ODataJsonLightResourceDeserializer.ReadUndeclaredProperty(IODataJsonLightReaderResourceState resourceState, String propertyName, Boolean propertyWithValue)\r\n at Microsoft.OData.JsonLight.ODataJsonLightResourceDeserializer.ReadPropertyWithoutValue(IODataJsonLightReaderResourceState resourceState, String propertyName)\r\n at Microsoft.OData.JsonLight.ODataJsonLightResourceDeserializer.<

I could not figure out where the issue is when I can see the GUID of the incomeocde at the data preview mode.

Can anyone help explain how to solve the issue?

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.

Check the data preview in ADF to see if the value(ngo_incomecode1) is coming through correctly.
Run the pipeline in debug mode and inspect the full payload being sent.
If possible, test the update via Postman to rule out ADF-specific issues

Thank you very much for your reply.

1. I can see the GUID at the sink level. (Please find the attached screen)
2. I ran the pipeline debug mode and found out the flow seems to be stopped at the join step. (Please find the attached screen)

3. Are you able to point me to the direction on how to test the update via Postman?

Hi v-saisrao-msft ,

I am able to update the field value via xrmtoolbox. But does not work with ADF. Could it be permission issue?
