Hello all,

I am getting a refresh error from a Gen2 Dataflow:

factOrders (2): Error Code: Mashup Exception Error, Error Details: Couldn't refresh the entity because of an issue with the mashup document MashupException.Error: Der Vorgang ist aufgrund des aktuellen Zustands des Objekts ungültig. Details: GatewayObjectId: e3231930-6c0a-4769-a3e8-af262ea70610 (Request ID: 6daa2c2a-65ad-407f-8b6d-d71e9a62d521).

Sorry for the German text, however I do not get an English version of it, although my language setting is English.

Translated it says something like "The process is invalid due to the current status of the object".

I could boil down the problem to a calculated column in the query.

If I try to catch the error, I again get the same error message:

The calculated column is fairly simple. All data types are set and 100% correct.

I do NOT get this error in a Gen1 dataflow. It does not matter if I just stage the query or want to load it to a lakehouse, the error is the same.

The data source of the query is a table from a Lakehouse as well as staged tables from Gen2 Dataflows.

I opened a ticket, case 2409270050001577.

Any ideas?

I tried that, however when I expand the column and search for the error, it gives me this message:

It is simply incredible how buggy Gen2 Dataflows are.

Any ideas? I have tried so many variation now. ALL source queries of that query are staged in a Dataflow first. I.e. there is only one data source.
