Hi,

I created an issue for myself and am wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue with a solution.

I have a Dataflow Gen2 that has multiple queries that publish to a datahouse data destination.

One of the queries started failing because the underlying source changed a column name

I decided I no longer needed this query/data and deleted the query from the dataflow

The query still had an error that I did not fix (mistake 1?)

The query still had a data destination that I did not remove (mistake 2?)

Even though the query is deleted from the dataflow, the entire dataflow is still failing because it is still trying run the deleted query. Specifically erroring out on the "writetodestination" step.

When I export the json for the dataflow, I can still see the query I had deleted.

I waited a day because sometimes there's a caching thing I've noticed with PowerBI, but still getting the failure today.

Just curious if anyone else has run into this issue and what they did to resolve?

I'm not planning on submitting a Microsoft ticket because every time I do for an issue they just tell me to delete and recreate which I may have to do. It would be really nice if they allowed an import of the json model like you can with dataflow gen1.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks cboorla. I was able to resolve the issue by recreating the deleted query in the dataflow. I used the exact same query name and data destination settings and it worked.
