Hi,

This would be a valuable enhancement for Microsoft Fabric Activator.

Including both the previous value and the new value in alert notifications would provide much better context and make it easier to understand why an alert was triggered without having to open the report or investigate the underlying data.

Some scenarios where this would be particularly useful include:

KPI monitoring (e.g., 85% → 72%).
Inventory or stock level changes.
Sensor or IoT threshold monitoring.
SLA and operational metric tracking.
Detecting unexpected spikes or drops in business metrics.

It would also be helpful if these values could be exposed as dynamic placeholders (for example, {{PreviousValue}} and {{CurrentValue}}) so they can be included in email notifications, Teams messages, or Power Automate workflows.

This feature would significantly improve the usefulness of Activator alerts by providing immediate context and reducing the need for recipients to manually investigate what changed.

I support this idea. If others find it useful as well, please consider voting for it to increase its visibility with the Microsoft Fabric product team.
