Hi. :manhappy:

Was recomended by "Ed Price, Azure & Power BI Customer Program Manager " to post my question here and not in the general Microsoft forum.

Here it is:

Does someone have a CSV File of all County/Region and States of all Countries in Europe that Bing and Powermaps recognise as an Area ?

Am trying to use the Area View within Powermaps, but without an extencive list it's not very usefull, and I cant afford to pay $$$ to a mapping company.

Started to collect a list with trial and error myself, but there must be a faster way.

(If you provide this as a general starter package next to were we download the Powermaps Program, than that would be very much apreciated by many)

+ sometimes County and States seem to be mixed up.
What I get as County level in GB is kind of States in other Countries and vice versa.

My understanding is that PowerMaps, Power BI, etc. use Bing to geocode the location data. That being said, I do not have a specific list of countries, etc but I can point you to the Bing geocode reference area which might get you to the answer:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff701734.aspx

If you go to https://www.bingmapsportal.com there is a Community site and Forum there that might be a better place to post your question but by all means, if you find an answer, please share it back here!!
