topic SQL Endpoint Metadata Sync Issue in Data Engineering

Hi,

I had a dim table that already existed in lakehouse and sql endpoint. I updated this table via pyspark (added new columns, removed some columns) and added it to lakehouse again with the same name in overwrite mode normally.

After doing this process, I can see the current table in lakehouse, but it is not reflected in sql endpoint and power bi semantic model sees the old version of the same table.

I deleted this table from lakehouse and added the same table again with a new name.

However, sql endpoint did not see it again. The strange thing is that when I write a query on the table that is not currently visible on sql endpoint, I do not encounter any error. After some research, I found a script that manually execute metadata sync and I ran it, but the result is still the same.

SQL Endpoint -> I deleted the dim_campaigns table from lakehouse and added a table with a different name, but dim_campaigns still appears in the sql endpoint.

This is the view in lakehouse. I can see dim_campaign_info here but not in the sql endpoint, but I can write queries on this table.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
