    <description>&lt;P&gt;ok, but they already were correctly assigned numeric and date type after I imported them to the lakehouse, and converted them to tables, but I will have a look next time I take the assignment.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But it's not specified to what kind of data type these columns shall be converted.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;you are supposed to eyeball the column contents and set whatever looks like a number to numeric, and whatever looks like dates to date.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
