Unable to upload downloaded notebook file from Fabric into Spark job definition file upload section

Hi Team,

I have a notebook in Microsoft Fabric that I downloaded and then attempted to upload back in the Upload File section of the Spark Job Definition. However, I am unable to detect this specific file from my desktop for uploading. Interestingly, when I tried uploading a random .ipynb file, I was able to detect and upload it without any issues. Below is an image of the downloaded .ipynb notebook file format from Microsoft Fabric. Could you provide some guidance on how to use the downloaded file in the Spark Job Definition? Should I convert the file to another format?

Hi Sanchana ,

You can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:

1. Try opening the file to see if it loads correctly and make sure the downloaded .ipynb file is complete and undamaged.
2. Rename the file with a simpler name. Sometimes spaces or special characters may prevent the file from being detected.
3. Open the notebook in Jupyter Notebook. Save the file again using the File -> Save As option. Try to upload the newly saved file.

1. Checked the file it is complete and undamaged.

2. Currently the file name is Data_Processing no special characters or spaces

3. This works but we cant do this all the time right ? Doesn't seem like a feasiable option for long term. Please do share your opinion
