Can anybody who completed DP 600 and DP 700 tell me which exam is more difficult? DP 600 or 700?

I passed DP 600 one go. I have not yet attemp DP 700.

I personally found DP600 more difficult (as I'm a data engineer, DP700 was closer to what my day job was), but I did my first DP600 exam way back when it was the only Fabric certification and covered everything including capacity administration.
As an aside, they are testing 2 different aspects of Fabric so aren't really comparable. Find which aspect you're best at and that one will be easier for you.

Both certifications have their difficulties.
My personal opinion is that the DP 600 felt more difficult.
Depending on your focus, you will find one or the other more difficult or easier.

However, as @spencer_sa says, you can't really compare them.

I concur. DP-600 was more difficult. But this is biased since you are more likely to take DP-600 before DP-700. No idea how I would have felt if I had taken them the other way round.

I already took DP 600 and got through in the first go. was easier.
Planning to take DP 700 and see how it is. This is my area and I am more passionate in to data engineering side than Reporting.

Hi @KGU_16031986,

I’ve cleared DP700, and from my experience it’s definitely more challenging than DP600, but in a good way. DP600 felt more straightforward and scenario based, whereas DP700 goes much deeper into data engineering concepts especially Spark behavior, Lakehouse/Warehouse architecture, pipelines, performance tuning, workspaces and troubleshooting in Microsoft Fabric.

you are right. DP 700 is more complex where as DP 600 is overall more focus in to analytics
