Any of you experience similar issues?

Reports with Direct Query are working properly, but newly created and previously existed reports with imported dataset are throwing unexpected errors like this one:

I tried out the following scenario. Report with DQ data source is works properly on RS, then I changed the data source to import. Uploaded back the report, and it produces these errors. It's the same with excel import data source.

Unfortunately the problem persists. Any idea? I tried to reinstall after a full delete, but nothing helps.

hi Matt,

We have identified an issue with DQ reports using Basic Authentication. Issue has been posted earlier @ https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/PowerBi-update-2019-January-Direct-Query-Error/m-p/608215#M9281

With import dataset reports we have not seen an issue. If you are positive that issue is from import dataset in your case then please share error from logs (typically availalbe at c:\program files\power bi report server\logs".

As I stated, these reports are import reports.
