When running on custom auth, Username() and Userprincipalname() will both return the username of the identity that was provided by the custom authentication extension.

Anyone has an idea/feeling if the RLS feature just released will work with custom authentication? I'm not a pro in either RLS or custom authentication!

Thanks for any feedback!

Great to know thanks! What function would you use to figure out who is looking at the report in a custom authentication scenario then? I am aware of the USERNAME() DAX function but thought that only works for AD credentials isn't it?
