Hi,

I have SQL Server Express Advanced installed and I have installed Power BI Report Server, I have a problem. when I login to

http: //********/ReportServer throws me an error.

"This edition of Reporting Services does not support the" The database engine instance that you selected is not valid for this edition of Reporting Services. The database engine does not meet the editing requirements for report data sources or the report server database. "(rsOperationNotSupported)"

I could not solve the problem, thanks for your help with this topic.

PBI Report Server cannot run using express as it's database engine. You must use the corresponding version of the database. Evaluation Edition of PBIRS with Evaluation Edition of SQL, Enterprise with Enterprise, so forth. If you're doing this for trial purposes, suggest installed developer edition for both.
