PDF Export Issues

Hi,

I'm using the August release version of Power BI Desktop Report server optimized and working on a rather large file (approx 50 tabs), all connected to an excel source.

When I export to PDF, some pages randomly shrink within the PDF.

Anyone have any reason or fix for this?

Is it possible to export from PDF in the Report Server ? Or only included in Power BI Desktop Report Server

One temporary fix I found is to tweak the particular page's dimesnions by 1-2 pixels and then save the file and regenerate the PDF.

Hope that Microsoft addresses it soon.

Can you export to PDF after publishing to Web Report Server?

AFAIK, currently you cannot export from report server after publishing, you can only do that from the desktop tool.

We have requirement extract power bi report to pdf and excel, though export to pdf option available its not extracting all the data except screenshot information.

In my case i have table which has lot of data and we need to scroll down to see the data. if i extract this report it is giving only information is visible not all the data is available in report.

Please any suggest what would be the best workaround approach to get complete reprot with all the data and my report has 5 visual in one page.

PowerBI Tiles pro is one solution that I can think of to get a report into Microsoft office tools.

I uninstalled PBI Desktop and reinstalled and that fixed it.

Export to PDF on PBI Desktop ot working since Week beginning 15/11/21, although it works on Power Bi Service. Any one else have similar issues? Any fixes?
