I config Reporting services configuration manager in sql server 2016 .

I can see web portal url and web service url, but I couldn't save report from power bi desktop report to reporting server , error "we couldn't find a power bi report server at this address " is occurred.

Generaly, How it possible to poblish power bi desktop report on Web browsser ?

Even, I am also facing the same issues. The tech. preview version seem to work fine, but seeing this error after the GA install. FYI, it's a fresh install and not an upgrade from tech. preview. any suggestions?

I am having the similar issue as well. I am using Power BI report server GA build and getting the same error when trying to save/open any report from the report server. "we couldn't find a Power BI Report Server at this address". report server has been configured as per Microsoft documentation and I am able to connect to the web portal. any suggestions?

SQL Server 2016 doesn't support Power BI Reports, you have to install Power BI Report Server which is a seperate product. You can download the latest trial version here.

Having the same issue. Installed the June GA Power BI Report Server and Desktop. Did "Save as" and selected "Power BI Report Server". Entered URL of our server (which works in browser). Get error

"We couldn't find a Power BI Report Server at this address."

I downloaded the Power BI Report server and it's configured. I get the same error when I enter the Power BI report server link. Any suggestions??

I too had the same problem, It was due to miscofiguration of urls. While Setting up powerBI server, theWebservice URL and Web Portal URL was set to same which caused the error. Modifed the URL's and used Web Portal URL to save the reports.
