topic Scheduled refresh fails for report using R script in Report Server

I am using Report Server (updated in April 2018) to publish my reports which use R scripts in Power Query (just data manipulation, NOT for visuals). The scheduled refresh of the report fails with error "<PRE>The import R.Execute matches no exports. Did you miss a module reference?. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.</PRE>". I can open the report in Desktop (Report Server), refresh the data, and re-publish it on the server, but that is a pain in certain body parts of mine. Is there any configuration I could do on my report server, or any changes in my report to resolve the issue?
