topic PBI Report Server - Performance expected in Report Server

Hi everyone,

I have been looking for (with no success) information about results on performance tests of PBIRS.

I explain, my customer (to Telco) wants to have a baseline about how many rows can PBIRS read by second in determined conditions. For example, PBIRS with 8 cores, 64GB in RAM and I do not know what else, can read X number of rows for second or show a report in X seconds.

I understand it can depends on N factors, data sources, network, etc... that's why I'm looking for tests performed on controlled enviroments, my customer only wants a reference including hardware and data response. I was checking the "Capacity planning guidance for Power BI Report Server" but it referers to hardware only.

Any link? Any comment?

Tks in advance,

JP
