Bug in document structure after updating to the latest May 2025 patch

Hi there,

after updating the Power BI Report Server to the latest patch from May 2025, the menu items in the left document map of published classic SSRS reports can no longer be expanded or collapsed using the small plus sign.

Maybe this issue is affecting other users?

I would like to submit it as a bug report.

Document Map Menu Not Expandable in SSRS Reports (May 2025 Patch). After updating Power BI Report Server to the May 2025 patch, users have reported that the document map (left navigation pane) in classic SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports no longer functions properly. Specifically, the expand/collapse (+) icons are non-responsive, preventing navigation through hierarchical sections of reports. Suggested Actions:

1. Verify & Isolate

Check in different browsers to rule out client-side rendering issues.
Try rolling back to the previous patch version in a non-production environment if possible, to confirm regression.

2. Submit Bug to Microsoft

To formally report the issue:

Go to Microsoft Power BI Support
Choose Power BI Report Server as the product.
Include:
- Screenshot of the issue (if available)
- Report server version number (from the "About" page)
- Browser and environment details
- Reference to “May 2025 Patch”

Or submit via Feedback Portal
