Hi,
I have a report with three data sources, Oracle, SQL and Netezza (via DBeaver) The Data Source for Netezza does not show on the Server under Data Source but Oracle and SQL do, after capturing credetials for those two I am able to set the Scheduler. When it runs the below errors are received:
14 of the below message

[0] -1056505856: COM error: Microsoft.PowerBI.ReportServer.ASEngineManagedRoot, The given data source kind is not supported. Data source kind: UnknownFunction..

[2] -1055129594: The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.

1 of the above message.

2 of the below message.

[15] -1055784933: External component has thrown an exception.. The exception was raised by the IDbConnection interface.

When I refresh from desktop it works.
Any thoughts, ideas please?
Thanks
Dylan

Hi Dylan24 ,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Thanks for your detailed explanation. This error suggests that Power BI Report Server encountered an issue with an unsupported data source kind.

Netezza (via DBeaver) is not natively supported in Power BI Report Server, which leads to error.

Below is the link you can refer for supported data sources.

Reference : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/data-sources#list-of-supported-data-sources

Power BI Report Server supports only a subset of Power BI Desktop features and connectors mostly those available in the Optimized for Report Server version of Power BI Desktop.

Custom or non-certified connectors (like ones used in DBeaver) are typically unsupported in Power BI Report Server.

Hope this helps !!
