Assitance Needed with Power BI Report Update

Hi Power BI community,

I am seeking assistance setting up a network folder that updates a database daily and is mapped to my laptop. While I have successfully configured Power BI to update the database, I am facing challenges with ensuring that the report updates when my laptop is turned off.

I possess the network address but am unsure of the steps required to connect this address to my Power BI report to enable automatic daily data updates.

Any support or guidance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I am facing challenges with ensuring that the report updates when my laptop is turned off.

Maybe consider moving your database (and the data sources) to a place that is continuously on, like an On-Premise VM, or a SharePoint/OneDrive.

The suggestion made by lbendlin is valid.
You want to be able to update Power BI reports even when your computer is turned off. Keeping the data feed in the cloud ensures that the data is constantly updated.
Even if the computer is turned off, the cloud service will still refresh the data source normally.
