Hi, lebedrv

Have you tried creating a new role and then assigning permissions corresponding to your needs?
Currently the permissions can be controlled as you can see in SSMS. If your current needs exceed these permission settings, then this will be difficult to do in Report Server.

You can try connecting to your Report Server's SQL Server database as shown below:

The competencies available to the corresponding roles are managed here. If you have any more questions, feel free to talk to me and I will do my best to answer them.

Best Regards

Hi everyone. I want to prevent users from setting the schedule for automatic updates of reports on the server themselves. How can this be done? Is it possible at the level of a role model?

Hi, lebedrv

Of course. You can assign roles to your users, and they have the same permissions. You can assign a role by following the steps below:

Open your Report Server web portal and click on the three dots next to the report you want to manage:

You can use SSMS to connect to your Report Server and then manage these roles:

In general, if your users don't have the ability to configure scheduled refreshes, you can assign a browser role to your users.

Best Regards

Jianpeng Li

If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.

Thks 4 answering. I tried this before and faced a new problem. Managing the report schedule is included in the "Manage report " point. OFC "browser" role doesn`t has permission to create a new schedule (because they have only "View reports" permission). But my task is to leave "publisher" role a permission to create and delete reports. but without setting new schedule for auto update. I don`t know if Microsoft have such point in role model. Fight with it for 2 days right now(
