topic Paginated report diff between connecting to SQL Server Database compared to imported PBI Dataset in Report Server

Hi, I was creating a paginated report (a simple one for testing) and connected to the PBI dataset. I used the wizard each time

Each time I attempt to run it, it fails, unable to create the report

I then recreated the report using the SQL Server database that the PBI report is based on, and the Paginated report ran perfectly and fast.

I was wondering some reasons why a report wouldn't run using a PBI dataset, but run directly against the SQL database quickly. The powerBI report is working well, but a paginated report isn't.
