i am generating a report in pdf format using the power bi report builder, report has the column which contains images from the database. For all the columns i have enabled Grow property to True, and for image property to "Fit". i am getting the output as

i wanted the height of the rows should be minimum if it does not contain images, else the row height should increse so the image is visible well looking like this

how to achive this variable height of rows based on the image , else it should have minimum row height.

Hi Jagg ,

Indeed, as lbendlin said, you want the image to be variable based on row height, either create the idea and vote on it, or change it manually.

Right-click the text box and select Text Box Properties.

Select the General tab.

To allow the text box to expand vertically based on its contents, select Allow height to increase.

To allow the text box to shrink based on its contents, select Allow height to decrease.

More details: Allow a text box to grow or shrink in a Power BI paginated report - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

In Design view, select anywhere in the tablix data region to select it. Gray row handles appear on the outside border of the tablix data region.

Hover over the row handle edge that you want to expand. A double-headed arrow appears.

Select to grab the edge of the row and move it higher or lower to adjust the row height.
